Pulmonary function testing (PFT) is a group of tests that evaluate the function of your lungs. They measure various aspects of lung function, including: 

Airflow: How quickly air moves in and out of your lungs 

Lung volumes: How much air your lungs can hold 

Gas exchange: How efficiently oxygen moves from your lungs into your bloodstream 

Respiratory muscle function: How strong your breathing muscles are.

We offer pulmonary function test (PFT) overreading services, where our team of RPFTs reviews the quality and accuracy of completed PFTs to ensure they meet established ATS/ERS standards.

PFT for Worker's Compensation

Diagnose and Monitor Conditions: 

By measuring parameters like forced vital capacity (FVC) (how much air you can exhale) and forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) (how quickly you can exhale), PFTs help diagnose lung disorders.

Determine Impairment:

 PFT results are used to determine an employee's level of permanent impairment, a factor in workers' compensation benefit eligibility for medical bills and lost wages.

Assess Respirator Use:
